H2O Bonefishing - The Bahamas

H2O bonefishing sits just outside of Freeport, on Grand Bahama Island with access to some of the best flats fishing anywhere. Using 16' Maverick flats boats to access the many flats with some of the biggest bonefish in the world along with Permit, Barracudas, Mutton Snapper, so on and so on. They also have a 21' flats boat for longer runs and a 36' offshore boat to run out to some of the most remote areas for tuna among many other fish species.

You will stay at the Pelican Bay Hotel while you are on the island. Other than fishing you can relax if this is your calling, making it a perfect place to bring the family. Pelican Bay Hotel is ideally situated within easy access of white sand beaches, lush boulevards, beautiful seascapes and the charming Port Lucayan Marketplace. Looking for adventure? Choose from a wide variety fun filled watersports. Want to keep dry but still have some fun? Head to the fairways at the nearby Lucaya golf course or some biking. There are endless things to do on Grand Bahama Island other than fishing and Pelican Bay is the perfect vantage point for experiencing it all, making this the perfect trip for a family wanting to fish or just have fun!

$2695.00 per person (double occupancy) plus international airfare.

DEPOSIT AMOUNT
$1000.00 deposit may be paid with check, credit card, certified check or money order. Final payments are typically due 60 days prior to departure. This can be adjusted to fish more days for sinle occupancy.

TYPICAL AIRFARE
Miami, Ft. Lauderdale are common U.S. gateways to Freeport, Bahama. Airfare to Freeport typically runs approximately $300 from a gateway city, depending on your location. Our travel agency can help with your flight arrangements. Note: airfares may change until final booking. Any changes are subject to the airlines rules and baggage restrictions.

GETTING THERE
You'll fly to Freeport Bahama, where you will be met and transported to Pelican Bay Hotel. The following three mornings you will meet your guide at 7:45 AM and drive over to launching spot for your days fishing. Last day, arrangements will be made for your transportation back to the airport for your flight back to the USA.

ACCOMMODATIONS
You'll stay at Pelican Bay Hotel, a first-class Hotel adjacent to some of the Bahamas most beautiful beaches.  The air-conditioned rooms are spacious, with two queen-sized beds or a single king sized bed. Other amenities include swimming pool and many restaurants within walking distance. This is the perfect place for the whole family.

MEALS
Breakfast is served at the Pelican Bay Hotel, lunch is on the boat and dinner is not part of the trip. 

NON-FISHING ACTIVITIES

Biking, golfing, hiking, shopping, lounging on the beach or pool side and touring

SAMPLE OUTLINE ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Freeport, Bahama. Airport reception and transfer to hotel for overnight.
Days 2-4: Full fishing days.
Day 5: Transfer back to the international airport for your flight back to the USA.
Longer stays and custom packages are available on request.

ENTRY

A valid passport required for U.S. citizens.  Passengers assume all responsibility for obtaining valid passports.

HEALTH
No shots are required to enter Bahama. Be sure to bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring dramamine if you are prone to sea sickness. Pepto-Bismol or Immodium may help incidental traveller's diarrhea. Note: health precautions are offered here as an informational service only. See your doctor or health clinic.

Temperatures typically range from 70 to 95 degrees.

TRIP INSURANCE
We recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance to cover any losses should you have to cancel to due to unforeseen illness or other emergency. Certain restrictions do apply. Premium rates are typically about $65 per $1,000 of coverage, and usually include some benefits for lost baggage, trip interruption, and emergency evacuation.
